The Hoyt RCRV Podium recurve grand prix ILF limbs is the ideal intermediate limb, this limb has a smooth rock maple core but with the added benefit of two separate layers of unidirectional carbon.

The carbon increases tortional stability resulting in the limb moving less during and after the shot, this results in much tighter side to side groupings.
